FYI, y'all...

A couple of cool things going on here in the last couple of days...

First, I confirmed our capacity with the venue owners based on our layout, and we put a few more tickets up on the Brown Paper Tickets event page. First-come, first-serve!

Second, we announced this special beer exclusively available for pre-sale to Woodshop XII attendees... Cellador Ales "Woodshop 8th Anniversary Beer." This is/was one of the "retcon Anniversary beers" originally blended for and served at Woodshop 11 on 11/11/17 at North Park Beer Co. It's damn tasty. Goes on sale starting Monday, 3/19 to event attendees via the Cellador Ales website. I'm sending email info about the sale to everyone whose email address is linked to the BPT ticket sales.

A couple of quick announcements...

First, get your t-shirt orders in immediately. We are going to press with the printing company within the next couple of days. If you want to be 100% locked in with your order, please place it online ASAP. Shirts are dope. Here's a mockup.


Second, here's a lil teaser of one of the beers we'll have in the draft lineup.... Get it in!

 

Good lawd! It is my great pleasure to announce/confirm that Guerrilla Tacos will be on-hand to slang some incredible grub for our event.

For those who don't know, Guerrilla Tacos makes amazing Mexican food with a fine dining and Asian fusion slant, and they regularly serve out of a taco truck that bounces around the city (they are opening a brick and mortar shop in The Arts District soon). They've been at it for years, and they have a rotating menu usually featuring 3-5 different tacos, maybe a tostada or two, and often like one or two heftier items like a torta, quesadilla, or burrito. At least one or two items on the menu at any given time are vegetarian options. Pretty much everything I've ever had from them has ranged from very good to mind-blowingly delicious. I don't think it's hyperbolic when I tell people that they are quite possibly my favorite restaurant in the city. And I can't wait to spread the love and many a delicious bite at this year's Woodshop.

Every Woodshop XII admission comes with a credit ticket redeemable for $10+tax towards your a la carte order from Guerrilla Tacos. Full menu available in case you want to gorge yourself, as Guerrilla Tacos tends to inspire us to do. Artisanal cheese spread and beer floats still in the mix as well, for your overwhelming culinary delight and indulgence.

Straight from The Underground....

The official "Woodshop 12th Anniversary Beer" is a very special creation by @metabrewing, which has been a long time in the making. This is a#masumotopeach #sourbeer that has been made with great care and passion to capture the characteristics of Old World brett funk, mature oak barrel-aging, and every depth of stonefruit possible. More than 3.6#/gallon of #Masumoto peaches and nectarines went into its creation, and it is now ready for release. She's a beauty. More info coming soon.
