But how could there possibly be that flavor with other ingredients?!

Haven’t tried anything from blackstack until tonight w a can of on one. I thought it was excellent. While I enjoy the ne style it can be a little to heavy/filling (I admit to still enjoying most though). This seemed to be right on the money for me by adding a little depth to the profile between the sweet and bitterness. The hop profile danced around a little more than a lot in the category.

I've had a few Local 755's, lately. Has anybody been having issues with what seems to be yeast derived bitterness/astringency/metallic and off flavors? I obviously know the NE IPA style, but after finishing these cans and wash them out in the sink, there is considerable yeast in the bottom. Sitting on yeast too long???

I actually meant Thread Count, instead of Local 755.

I drank my last Thread Count within the last week & it was amazing. In fact, it seemed quite improved from the first one I had right off the bat, which I feel happens in a fair amount of this sub-style. No issues here.

Their hazy stuff has a lot of yeast in suspension. Cut open a can of Local 755 sometime, after you’ve poured it, and there will be a few cm of thick yeast cake at the bottom. Doesn’t bother me, the beer is delicious.

Please inform us of your results after you cut open a Thunder Lizard.

Knocked back a few of their new Passionfruit Gose, just wow. It's like drinking fruit juice.

Is that good or bad? I honestly can't decide sometimes.

If you don’t like beer, it’s good.

Thunder Lizard hitting stores today. On the twitters BlackStack said, "I think so", when asked if we will see more Thread Count.

This would be great news. If readily available I would definitely abandon one of my go-to IPAs for Thread Count.

Thunder lizard is the second beer I’ve had from these guys (one? Or something was the first). Both are a “NE” style, but I like them quite a bit more than most in that category. They do a great job of making them not overly cloying.
