Good morning BA, have a great Sunday! Not much going on yet again today. Have my usual Sunday errands, and need to pack up a BIF box. Just need to figure out what all is going to go in it.

Fantastic coffee stout again this year. Flavors of big nutty dark roasted coffee, milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, toffee, brown sugar, and toasted dark bread; with lighter notes of vanilla, raisin, cherry, smoke, char, and herbal hops. Very complex and vibrant fruity/nutty coffee character. Light-moderate herbal hop and roast/char bitterness; great bittersweet balanced roasted finish. Medium-full bodied creamy, silky, velvety mouthfeel; light hop stickiness and chalky roast/coffee notes. Lightly increasing roasted dryness. Super smooth, minimal warming ABV. Amazingly rich, complex, and well balanced. Probably won't be my only 6 pack this year.

Outstanding NEIPA! Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, citrus peel/zest, green pepper, and pine hops; with moderate honey, wheat, biscuit dough malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Very mild pine, zesty, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy/bready malts and light sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Insanely drinkable for 7%. Another killer NEIPA as expected of Mikkeller SD. Super soft mouthfeel; juicy/dank hops and balanced bready malts. Need to get more of the Citra/Amarillo Windy hill. They have been nailing the NEIPA game all year.

Always amazing. Got a 6 pack for the first time last month, $12 for pints is an amazing deal. Flavors of big grapefruit, orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, and piney hops; with balancing sweetness of caramel, brown sugar, toffee, brown bread, toasted biscuit, and light nutty/chocolate malts; some light raisin/fig dark fruits and herbal/grassy hop earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus rind, herbal, grassy, peppery hop bitterness on the finish. Medium-full bodied; balanced bready creaminess and sticky/resinous hops in the mouthfeel. Increasingly drying, but never astringent on resins. Really awesome balance and complexity. Classic American strong ale, all Chinook hops. Really need to keep this around more often. I rewrote the review last time, and it's pretty much just as impressive as I remember when I reviewed it nearly 6 years ago.

Incredible! I made sure to stock up last year. Got 3 more left. Flavors of huge dark chocolate, cocoa, caramel, molasses, fudge, spicy rye, dark bread, vanilla, toffee, bourbon, toasted oak, pecan nuttiness, licorice, raisin, fig, and light smoke/char. Light-moderate roast/char bitterness and bourbon/oak spiciness on the finish. Full bodied creamy, silky, velvety; and lightly slick, sticky, chalky mouthfeel. Lightly increasing roast/char dryness, never acrid/astringent. Dangerously smooth. Mildly warming and minimal booze for the ABV. This is a flat out amazing beer for the price. For being partial barrel aged, there is still plenty of barrel character going on. Big malt complexity, in combination with pecans and fruity yeast esters. The more recent batches were definitely better than the original 2013 they had released in overall complexity and barrel presence. Will be coming to 6 packs this year, which is great! Glad they keep making it every year.

I am drinking 3 fonteinen Oude Geuze a Gueuze from Brouwerij Drie (3) Fonteinen, Belgium, ABV 5.80%. A Gueuze is a blend of old and new Lambics that has been aged a few years for a more intense and dry flavor. Oude Geauze is quite tart and dry. The flavor is green apples, lemon, grapefruit, oak barrel and white wine. It is just right and very refreshing in the hot Texas night. It might be too tart for some.

I’ve sat on this can for too long, but this is still a very good beer! Smacks you in the face with Columbus and Citra!

Wow! This is still good, and quite a change of pace from all the juicy IPAs that I have been drinking recently.

A bit of coffee and milk before I make my coffee for the day. This bottle landed via @ONUMello in the BIF. Really looking forward to it! I'll be reviewing this over in NBS.

Grapefruit grows on trees so it's a flowering fruit and I don't know what grapefruit flowers smell like but that's what I'm reminded of here. An aroma of bright, flowery citrus hops with a definite grapefruit hit.

Flavor is well defined among the hops in a way that is less sharp yet richer than the regular Sculpin. There is more of a malt presence than the regular Sculpin as well though not enough to compete with the hops, just support them.
