Again, we're getting ahead of ourselves in terms of the velocity of the sales here without knowing what the yields were.

No reason to think they weren't anything other than single batches of 180-200 cases or so.

Maybe people are also working from home like myself as well? Its a 2hr round trip for me so it was too hard to justify while still being on the clock. Either way didn't expect it to be so crazy.

+1 to that. The last couple mosaic beers OH has done have had that.

I'd have to disagree; it doesn't really add up here unless everyone on line was maxing out from 12-3 today. We don't know if they canned less, and put more into kegs due to the holiday and/or the Mobile release. They also had -1 less day to can into.

i'd reason that a great majority of people were maxing today. I mean they sold through ~40 cases of each beer between 2:30 and 4, so it's reasonable to assume that a good chunk of the people who lined up before noon were doing at least 3-4pks each.

Haha - i had to limit myself to 2 x 4 packs. DMD is a long time fave (tho not liking these onion comments) and wanted to try something new

Fair enough, particularly given how slowly the line moved, but I was 60-70 in line and it seemed like every other person ahead of me was maxing while nearly everybody else was getting 2ish cases.

Is Other Half doing away with printed cans now? Last batches of Hop Showers and AGE were also sticker labels.

Oh ok, yeah that makes sense then if the first people were getting that much.

With velocity quoted above however, at 40-50 cases per 90 minutes, they'd need 6 hours to move each beer.

    How's Citra/Azacca tasting?

Some friends I have down in Philly call it "Onion Half". Been a while since I picked up on that in their beers, though honestly at this point I'm so damn trained on the OH hop/yeast profiles that other beers often feel like they need more onion.

i didnt think DMD was too onion-y. then again i dont mind a little vegetal flavor. mosaic just tends to be either explosively fruity or pretty oniony. depends on the crop it seems.

just another reason galaxy is the best hop.

Stock market is closed today so anyone working in something related to finance likely had the day off, which was the case for me. Had a can of Space and it is tasting real nice.

I mean its called Mosaic cause it gives off a bunch of different flavors I think. I've gotten blueberry before which is really weird. But yea Galaxy for life, Space Diamonds is my favorite beer period.

Funny seeing so many confused gazes from passerbys today not used to the line on a weekday.
