What beer are you drinking now? #1987

Checking out a craft AAL. Hope this doesn't trigger anybody. Especially the folks at Prairie.

This Export Special takes me back to 15-16 yrs old when everyone would steal 1 beer from Dad's fridge then go drink them at the beach. Not gonna bash it, it and beers like it served a purpose for many of us.

I do however see a Hopslam in my future...

 

Thoroughly confused by Great Divide’s Hop Disciples beers — they brew this beer with a new hop variety each year yet there is no marking on the can which variety it is. They tell you on their website, however when I look at the canning date (Dec, 2017) how am I supposed to know if it’s the 2017 version or the 2018 version? Therefore I will not review this beer because it’s confusing. Really irritating that they can’t simply state it on the can. And from what I can tell, they use the exact same can label for every single variety. I give up.

 

Lives up to the hype and then some! Absolutely fantastic! A true Galaxy bomb in every sense of the word!

 

Friday and I'm off before 6? Rare!

Maybe even as rare as this classic unhazy IPA, who knows this still existed?


Was craving some old school hops, still good stuff!

Same here . Probably helped that they got more than usual, it's 2 days earlier, & arrived in the afternoon. But still , just 2 years ago, I had to ask to leave work to arrive 5min after opening. (1st time I ever got there in time.) Boss' hubby went there about an hr later and it was gone.(On her behalf. She was the one missing it, so shared with her & the co-workers > Gwen,Mary, & Liz - the other guys aren't beer drinkers. )
Probably will get to that later. A pils is what was calling to me.

Clear orange amber liquid, two finger off white foam cap, sticky lacings, settles to islands of foam

Aroma of strawberry, bubblegum

Citrus hp taste

Dry hop, bitterness lingers

Good beer

 

@drtth sounds more definitive than I'd have been, but I agree with him. He probably actually researched though
