    Cans:

This week's canning schedule, not guaranteed:

    + Tuesday

    + Wednesday

    + Thursday

    + Friday

We are packaging into cans on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week. Cans become available the day they are packaged. Thanks!

    Pints:

As we settle into our new brewery, the availability of pints will be sporadic (except for Tuesday and Saturday) and dependent on the crowd. If we are too busy it is not possible to maintain an enjoyable and efficient experience for takeaway beer and serve pints at the same time. Stay tuned to Twitter to learn if and when pours are available.

    Growlers:

While we transition to the new brewery, growler fills are temporary on hold. Fear not - they will be back. They are a huge part of what makes us Tree House.

    New Glass 750 ML - $5 | 2L - $6

    Parking:

REGARDING PARKING ON VERY BUSY DAYS, PLEASE HEED THE GUIDANCE OF OUR PARKING STAFF. ALSO, USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN ENTERING AND EXITING THE PROPERTY. THANK YOU!

    Line:

There is just one line, the can line! You may order growlers (not available at this time) from the can line, when they become available at the new brewery. Our staff will assist you by handing out and collecting order cards for growlers while you wait for cans.

ABSOLUTELY no drinking in the line or on the outside grounds!

If you have to smoke, please step out far enough from the line so other people don't have to inhale your smoke. Thank you.

We make every effort to keep limits the same, and this is indeed the case 95% of the time. On rare occasions when we believe it will be beneficial to visitors, we will lower limits to spread the love around a bit.

ALL LIMITS POSTED ARE PER PERSON, PER DAY. No SECOND TRIPS THROUGH THE LINE during the same day even if they add new cans later in the day.

ALL WHO PURCHASE BEER AT TREE HOUSE MUST PRESENT A VALID AND CURRENT PHOTO ID, NO EXCEPTIONS.

    BYOB:

The beer you purchase at Tree House can be enjoyed at Westview Creamery on East Hill Road, and at BT's Smokehouse in Sturbridge.

    Nearby Bottle Shop:

Yankee Spirits in Sturbridge, is the closest. It's close to BT's Smokehouse.

    Dogs / Kids:

Children, dogs and families are always welcome at Tree House

    Good Morning:

This has come up several times in past months. According to @DigitalNate, Good Morning has not been retired.

However all beers, including Good Morning, on this BA site that are listed as "limited" or in this case "rotating" and have not been released again eventually gets moved to the "archived" list, if not re-released over a period of time (forgot how long). It has nothing to do with whether or not it will actually be brewed again despite the red "This beer is retired; no longer brewed." which is added automatically by the site. This line sometimes confuses people but disappears when the beer is moved back to the "current" list.

    Shuttle bus:

If you find yourself parked in the lower lot, we now provide shuttle service that runs thru every 5 minutes or so...now you don't have to exercise to get up that hill (although some of us could use the workout). :stuck_out_tongue:

Haven't been in a while -- what's the scene like on a typical Saturday AM these days? If we show up at 10:30 to 11 are we going to be waiting for 90 minutes?

Didn’t have the chance to ask this, but I was curious with seeing Very Green pop up again. Anyone able to try some lately and compare to what first popped up in February this year?

Yesterday showing up at 11 was definitely an 80+ minute wait but I imagine on a Saturday without hyped leftovers it wouldn’t be as bad.

Twas amazing. I couldn't tell you if it was better, but I have to assume TH hones in and improves every facet of every beer they brew as time goes on.

Curious to see how Bright w/ Galaxy compares to it tho in a blind side by side.

Did exactly this yesterday with pours at the brewery! This batch of Very Green is fantastic.. not nearly as astringently bitter as the Jan batch and sans the heat that has plagued previous batches, IMO. Still doesn’t nail that balance as perfectly as the best batches of reg Green (for me), but “dank, creamy Galaxy sorbet” is a pretty apt descriptor—a real overripe tropical fruit explosion.

In a side-by-side, Bright w Galaxy held up surprisingly well. The Bright base is a bit more acidic than that of VG, with the Galaxy hops expressing more citric and passionfruit-forward. Less creamy pineapple and dank herb relative to VG, but the mouthfeel was excellent—maybe even softer and more rounded in its bitterness than VG.

Alongside a small pour of Human Condition, it made for an excellent first visit to Charlton

Any reason Tree House doesn't announce amounts left and allotments for silents the days after the initial release? I would think after the full first day most people already are aware of the beer and the silent aspect is over.

I'm actually not so sure that most people become aware of the silents a day or two after release! While the vast majority of megafans (existing in tight-knit communities on BeerAdvocate, Facebook groups, Instagram, etc.) are likely to hear chatter of a silently released beer, I don't think the majority of those who visit Tree House fit this profile. I spoke to a few people while waiting in line on Saturday and was pretty surprised to find that most of them were completely unaware of the Impermanence release until they'd arrived and started seeing people leaving with bottles. I don't know how much more traffic they'd garner if they did announce silents after a day or two given that the additional demographics they'd be reaching would be less "fanatic" than those who are already in the know, but it does make sense for them to keep it as quiet as possible in an effort to reduce onsite hysteria. Plus, the look on some faces when they realized what was available was pretty fun!

If I let loose a SBD, I generally don't announce it even after half the room is keeling over from the stench.

I understand your point. I guess I was just looking at it in the sense that the crazies probably already ran up there once they heard it dropped, and the casual fans wouldn't run over there if you did tell them about it, so why not let just let people know. I am asking selfishly because I am 3 hours away and am just curious if it will be available tomorrow and how many per person, but maybe they will announce it.

I had this same feeling on Saturday not knowing how much was leftover from Friday. Maybe @DigitalNate throws a bone our way and posts how much on here. I think the majority of people just follow th website, and maybe twitter.

I had the same thing happen to me on Saturday. The people behind me in line were very nice and we were chatting. They had no idea impermanence was available. One of the guys didn’t want to get a stout so he bought 2 bottles for me as well. Now I have 2 for myself and 2 to give to my friends who couldn’t make the trip with me.

Also had very green and HC to top off the day. Now if the weather would cooperate I could enjoy the Adirondack chairs sometime

Sup, I mostly Untappd but trying to lock down some info I had passed on to me. Anyone know about midnight silent releases at TH? Heard there was a GM release a few months ago. Don't @ me if you're just gonna put me on blast. Heard from reliable sources this is actually a thing.
