Got a 34 lb box packed up for the NBS BIF, I really went overboard on this one. Used extra packing material to hopefully not get any casualties this time. My last box got thrown around hardcore by FedEx. I over packed that last box with beer anyways, so I should be OK with this one.

Fantastic Berliner! Aromas and flavors of big lightly tart/tangy rhubarb, strawberry, melon, lemon, lime, peach, pear, red/green apple, hay, straw, and grass; with balanced vanilla, cream, wheat, and crackery malt sweetness; light pepper, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and yeast spiciness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; very creamy/silky/grainy wheat/vanilla; some lactic acid and light fruit tang/tannins in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing tart/tangy/carbonated dryness; no pucker/astringency. Refreshingly drinkable, not overly lactic, 4%. I've never had a compote before, but this is definitely what it might be like. Super jammy rhubarb, with balanced Lacto complexity and vanilla/wheat sweetness. Insane drink ability. Will definitely keep grabbing more while I can. Spot on dessert style Berliner as expected. Keep buying more of it every week.

Fantastic IPA as always, one of my main go-to classic favorites. Lasting thick head retention/lacing the whole glass. Aromas and flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, pineapple, citrus peel/zest, and pine hops; with moderate toasted bread, light caramel malt balance; and floral/grassy hop earthiness. Fair amount of pine, citrus peel, grassy bitterness on the finish. Balanced creamy/bready malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Moderately crisp/dry and extremely drinkable; never astringent. Never gets old, always fantastic. I will always love classic C hopped beers, even with all of the new hop varieties around. Awesome vibrant/juicy Centennial hops; balanced bready Munich malt backbone, with minimal residual sweetness. Need to buy it more often than I have been lately.

Starting this Monday with the King of New Mexico beers (arguable I know), along with an appropriate soundtrack that reflects the origins of this beer... really digging the Handsome Family lately. Discovered 'em late, I know, but from Chicago, and now based in Albuquerque. Yes please.

I'm pretty much desensitized to this beer by now, but it's still damn good.

If I lived in NM, this would be my default IPA, and I’d follow up with a Project Dank - some tasty beer there my friend!

Hit the grocery store at 6:30 when they opened and this was beckoning me from the shelves . . .

A classic by anyone's standard. This is what Euro lager is about, light color, medium flavor that manages to be both rich and dry, malt and hops in balance.
