Many breweries do April Fools jokes/promotions, so let's to collect them all here in one thread for people to see! I'm sure many of the brewery April Fools were posted in WBAYDN, NBS, and regional forums, but it's hard to track them all down. I'll start....

Someone created a website and Facebook page for "SpontanAir" offering customers rare lambic air for a mere $25 per bottle for their lambic brewing needs, including air from Cantillon, Drie Fonteinen, Boon, Lindemans, and more. Apparently, Cantillon air is so authentic that bottles may include spiders; and Girardin is so secretive that the air samples were collected by a team of ninjas. :astonished:

Great Lakes posted this on this on their Facebook page (if you go to their Facebook feed, make sure you click their weblink for more April Fools fun):

I drank a can of Other Half DMD, then mixed some oatmeal with food coloring, place the mixture in a diaper, and had my toddler carry it to my pregnant wife

As wacky as some of the beers have been in the past that Short's has released, here's one that I don't think is for real, but you tell me. It's from their Facebook page yesterday.

Honestly, I could see these as being perfect for the MurkBro beers that folks line up for these days.

Despite the note at the end of that article that says, "CLEARLY this is bull****." I'm gonna pull a @jesskidden and mention that this clear lager had its real equivalent too.

Thank you to everyone who showed up yesterday for the release of Octodecuple Barrel-aged Hunahpu's Imperial Stout! We sold out quickly after everyone who showed up purchased the max allotment of 2 pallets per person.

This beer was aged in 18 different barrels before being masterfully blended together by our brewmaster Wayne. The percentage breakdown for the blend is as follows:

    - 4.3% aged in bourbon barrels
    - 8.3% aged in apple brandy barrels
    - 2.5% aged in tequila barrels
    - 9.3% aged in vodka barrels
    - 4.4% aged in kaoliang barrels
    - 7.9% aged in sambuca barrels
    - 4.8% aged in drambuie barrels
    - 5.2% aged in whiskey barrels
    - 4.3% aged in Tabasco barrels
    - 7.2% aged in mezcal barrels
    - 5.9% aged in sloe gin barrels
    - 6.2% aged in țuică barrels
    - 2.2% aged in whisky barrels
    - 4.3% aged in California brandy barrels
    - 8.6% aged in eau de vie barrels
    - 7.5% aged in bourbon barrels
    - 4.0% aged in amaro barrels
    - 3.1% aged in pickle barrels

We expected a bigger turnout to be honest, but maybe we should have been more vocal about it on social media. Those who did get the beer seem happy with their haul. And we imagine it'll be super easy to get bottles from these guys in a trade!
