The app updated this week. The most exciting thing is the $6 bodhi cans. May have a few tomorrow.

Those cheap cans of Bodhi though! Granted not at Safeco, in October I spent 11 per can at CLink. 6 is amazing.

I would like to second this post. Volholl is great. Marina market has an excellent bottle selection and Silver City is one of my favorites.

The Mariners site on SBN: https://www.lookoutlanding.com/2018...18-eat-park-play-seattle-mariners-gluten-free posted their yearly "Visiting Safeco" post today. Lots of good tips. In addition, forum member @sanford_and_son is a big contributor to LL.

Starting the season with a crooked stave sour. Love Safeco.

Nice easy going canned IPA release at Ravenna today and the Guava Gose is back on tap. But man does the haze bring the boys to the yard. Heard a few people apologize that they'd never been in before. Hah.

Back from a fantastic trip to WA. The detour to Lake Quinault for a solo night in March (one of the two wettest months of the year for that area) in hindsight wasn’t the most brilliant plan. But still enjoyable nonetheless. Three Magnets was our only “new to us” brewery stop, but did manage to make it to cloudburst twice as well as No Anchor. Pretty much camped out at Seapine every night gorging on Positron and mosaic pale and mixing in several other seapine options. Also has delicious beers from other local breweries st numerous restaurants and random stops. Good times had in Seattle!

Ravenna sold out of their DIPA cans on Saturday, but Chucks GW got some in if anyone wants a four pack.

If you've tried them, did you like it? Considering making this trip in the evening if they're still available.

It was pretty good, very solid offering. Had it on draft, haven't opened a can yet.

Heads up, looks like they're selling them by the can, one per person.

Had a nice trip to Seattle over the weekend. Started off the Mariners game with a Sumerian Raspberry Hibiscus Pilsner. I wish Fenway had as good as a selection or pricing.

Had a few beers at Cloudburst and enjoyed their stuff. I had a fair amount of hoppy WA/OR stuff during the trip and their Built To Sell was the one I would consider very good. Since my in laws are in Kirkland we walked over to Chainline Brewing. Great location on the walking/biking trail. We all liked it and my in laws plan on going back. Overall it was a successful trip and I hope to return soon.

Non beer related question: there are rational seahawks fans who think the whole 12 nonsense that is all over the city is hugely embarrassing, right?

    Now that I'm back on the komputater, a couple things;

A: You assume that there are such things as rational Seacow fans.
B: Boston fans (regardless of sport, but especially Red Sux fans) have no room to cast stones.
C: The 12s are still a bit sensitive when you mention that they stole their whole "12th Man" schtick from a college.
D: Has you not seen Seattle's other team, the Mariners? Seacows only thing Seattle sports fans have to hang their hats on.

I think if Seattle got a few Dunkies, an endearing accent, and some Nor'easters this place would be WORLD CLASS

Is there a bar in or near the Fremont area that has decent beer/food and plays sports? Heading down tonight and want to catch the last 2 periods of the Canucks game, Sedins last at home. Prefer not Masonry (if they even play sports at Fremont) cause we’re gonna be there all day Saturday.

The beer at the dock isn't stellar but it's probably where I'd go for that.
