Short's Brewing Releases & Updates (2018)

Absolutely love pb&j ! Picked up a single to give it a try and its fantastic. Soft parade with peanut butter aroma+a bigger body/roast flavors! Will be buying a six pack today. Also new style looks great .... londen fog is one of my favs .. 6.8% though thats a hike up. might have to pick up the variety pack!

Ive been focusing more on homebrewing/personal career changes in the works .... plus its brew competition season so Ive been sorta mia on here for a while but its good to scroll thru and see what you all and shorts are up to! Heres to a kickass 2018 w shorts brews and hopefully several pub and production facility visits!

A bit of trivia that I'm pretty sure I read somewhere: Soft Parade Shandy was an accident. There was some Lemonade left over from making another shandy and someone just decided to add some to Soft Parade.

 

New Private Stache beer coming to the pub this weekend:

 

Really hoping the two newest private stance beers are there through the anniversary party weekend. Would love to get a few bottles

 

Currently sipping on a PB &J, really well balanced and tasty IMO.

 

That is true, it was left over from Power of Love. We blended with everything and this was great, my favorite was also the Short's Shandy (Locals and Lemonade) that is available at Treetops and Grand Traverse Resort this summer!

Sean is no longer with us That said we remain friends and as far as I know he is taking some time to prep for what I hope is the Summer of Sean where he hits the road and takes in every concert he can find.

 

Thanks for the update, also good to see you back. I wish Sean the best, I think I can say from everyone here he will be missed on the forums and please wish him well for us.

I'm a huge fan of Soft Parade and just discovered it accidentally. This sounds amazing!!!

 

Next round of specialties is out. Pumped for Mighty Shorse! Had it at summer beer fest last year and it was great.

Anybody seeing the latest variety pack out in the wild yet? Checked several spots around GR yesterday and today and havent found one.

 

Nothing here and I've been looking. Between New Style and London Fog - both of which I find excellent - and Most Excellent Stellar I've been more excited fot this pack than some of the limited releases so far.
I also took a spontaneous trip to the pub last Saturday and checked S-Mart in hopes it would be there. No dice.

 

Nothing across SE MI either for the next iteration of the variety pack.

I'm pumped for the return of Spirit of '78. One of my favorites last year. A little too easy to drink. Much like 13irteen, which is delightful, and the source of my headache this morning.

 

Picked up sixers of sticky boots and lemon hop stand. That should hold me over until the variety pack emerges!

 

... and once again no Spruce Pilsner this summer. But there is a metric ton of IPAs I won’t buy.

 

Just get a bunch of pine needles and put them in another Short’s IPA. That thing was like eating a bunch of pine needles to me. It seemed solid except for the pine overload...which I realize is what they’re going for.

 

Second release in August is TBD hopefully its Spruce Pilsner!
