    Good morning BA.

    Breakfast beer for lunch, always a treat and the 2018 FBS has the baby missing. Strange.

    What happened to you in 1999? I was in high school and got my first girlfriend and kisses, deep tongue kisses. It felt great. Sadly I was terribly shy then and said girlfriend didn’t keep me for too long. She wanted more than mere kisses, you know.

    Yeah, there was a controversy a few years ago about having a baby associated with alcohol. I thought it was only in Michigan, but apparently it has expanded...

    There’s not much better than a great DIPA (this one a Sand City/Interboro collab) after getting off work and having Slap Shot on the television. Still getting adjusted to the new job but at least my overnights are over already. Going back to a more regular shift tommorow.

    Clear light golden color with white cap.

    Aroma of light, sweet malt with floral, citrusy hops.

    Flavor is clearly in the medium range with a good deal more substance than most Kolsches I've tried. The malt is rich without being caramely or sweet, yet still has a bit of heft. Floral hops with a spicy kick are present from start to finish yet are restrained, never wandering off into bitterness.

    Medium texture with balancing carbonation.

    I like what I can only call the refreshing spiciness of this one. It lifts up almost effortlessly yet still maintains some substance. Most Kolsches I've had (the good ones) have a lightness about them but this version has the sort of personality you'd notice in a crowded room.
