What beer are you drinking now? #2000

Spring is finally here, first beer I'm having outside in a very long time. Really nice to enjoy an excellent local porter while literally and figuratively smelling the flowers come upscreencast

 

Another good one that I come back to a lot. It's hazy and it's got a ruddy complexion. A distinctive tasting IPA from Keegan's in Kingston NY. To a lot of people, "upstate NY" means any part of the State that is not NYC or Long Island. But from my vantage point, Kingston is downstate. And I love driving downstate through the Hudson Valley. Was down to Keegans last fall and hope to get back down soon.



PS - I think my wife is adjusting to the idea of husband photographing his beer all the time, but she still give me funny looks

“Let’s Weird”

Hazy cloudy orange. One finger frothy white foam cap, good sticky lacings

Aroma of Citrus , mango, whiff of pine

Citrus taste, bit of tropical taste

Medium sudsing, hop lingers nicely, nibble no bite

Good beer

 

Well if you really want I can go down and serve them some legal papers but somehow I doubt you will get any money. I've had a couple of beers from them and they do a really good job.

 

Reminiscent of the original Gubna recipe.
