This beer is INCREDIBLE!! Lots of delicious maple syrup, warming whiskey, burnt toast ends, morning coffee, caramel sticky buns, and bacon drippings. This is a fantastic stout and way better than the original! Every rye beer that OddSide does is phenomenal - and I generally dislike rye beers overall. They do it right!! 4.45 out of 5. Would definitely trade hardcore for this again!

Wow, WBAYDN #2000. All I can think of is the Conan O'Brien's "In The Year Two Thousaaaaaaaaaaaaand!"

Been a long week but finally sitting down with a brew. Pipeworks Moon and Back, an English IPA. They have it on sale for $5...can't really go wrong.




Photobombing dog wanted in. Brew is really nice and representative of the style. Aroma and flavor are led by the rich malts, caramel, toast, and fruity esters. A mild spicy hop presence too. Balanced, slightly dry finish. Really nice brew.

It's my normal homebrew stout plus IPA I don't like or got old. It's actually a dignified way for sad IPAs to go. Enjoy what's in your glass tonight friends!

 

Incredible as always. Flavors of juicy grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, melon, passion fruit, berry, lemon/orange zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate caramel, toasted biscuit malt; and herbal, floral, grassy hops earthiness. Light-moderate pine/grassy bitterness. Very smooth finish with balanced hop stickiness and bready creaminess in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, never astringent. Has all the Mosaic and Citra hop flavors I love, with balanced bready malts to make it taste super juicy. Glad I decided to revisit this beer a while ago, a top favorite IPA for sure. Was not nearly as impressed the first time I had it. Need to get some cans soon.


Always excellent Belgian stout. Big flavors of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, molasses, dark bread, toasted biscuit, and light nutty/smokey malts; with raisin, plum, fig, cherry, clove, pepper, light banana yeast; and mild herbal hops. Light-moderate peppery yeast and herbal/roasted bitterness on the finish. Really great creamy/silky medium-plus bodied mouthfeel. Slight hops stickiness and chalky roast. Lightly increasing bitter/roasted dryness. Never acrid/astringent. Super smooth. Awesome balance between stout and Belgian yeast complexity. One of my favorite seasonals, but that applies to everything Bell's makes anyways. Glad it is coming back again this year. I have 1 bottle left.
