I just saw a note from Troegs that their Hibiscus seasonal IPA will be released again this year on April 15. https://troegs.com/beer/crimson-pistil/

Yeah, I'll pass on these flowery hibiscus IPAs. Give me more Refreshing or Alien Church.

No, but for me personally I'm not shelling out $25 for a non DIPA Milkshake. Just me.

I can't believe how much is left. It was a big canning run, but still. More than a third of it is still around.

I gotta say, it is nice being able to show up at 11:40 and leave by 12:05 with full allotments. Thank you all who didn't show up last night, you're the true heroes we need.

Alien Church sellouts are cyclical. Sometimes it sells out next morning. Other times it lasts to the weekend. Just a matter of people reupping the stash whenever theyre out

had an alien church on draft recently and must say i was a little disappointed.

was picking up a lot of bidimensional reptoid notes. I thought that they used more of an escape pod full of hops and NOT A SPACESHIP. I did pick up on some flavor photosynthesizing tongue oat-ness so there's that. I received lackluster notes of cotton candy, tide pods, strawberry fields forever and caprisun left in a car for a week. really need to dial in the rest of their intergalactic face-melting lineup.

I can't wait until Alien Church is fully stocked at the Genny. I'll have a case at all times in the fridge for the summer.

Have they actually announced that this is in the plans or are people just assuming?

Gotcha @makalarch, couldn't find it but I'll take your word for it. If true, it will increase the likelihood of my TH visits by a large amount. I hate going on Sundays and weekdays, Saturday is my beer day. If I can leave TH with some AC, a growler of whatever, that sounds like a dream.

Pizza Boy just added Alien Church and Wish Fulfillment on top. Now I can drive ten minutes down the road to get my fix instead of waiting once a month during my trips back home to Philly.

After reading that post again, it says "we will begin thinking about"........I read that differently last time as it was a given, now in reading again I'm not so sure.

I read that as they need to make sure it's worth the cash to invest in more cold storage at the General Store before committing to anything. Right now, they aren't sure.

I’m really enjoying Control Voltage tonight. A lot. It’ll go quicker than I planned and I may not share. Happy I made the effort and I wish I had picked up another 4 pack! Sweet and bitter and mouthfeel are in perfect balance to me. I don’t get to try much Tired Hands, but I greatly prefer this to the recent Half Acre/Tired Hands 4xIPA “collaboration” (who knows how much role TH played) we had here in Chicago.

I’m not the biggest hazy IPA guy, but I enjoyed Alien Church and Refreshing too. Not as much as some of my local favorites, though, which surprised me. My feeling is Refreshing May need to sit another week or two for my tastes. If Alien Church is available again during my trip next month I’ll likely grab more.
