Same here. That last White Stripes album was leading into what Jack White was capable of. His solo shit is a lot better, I think. A lot more interesting and experimental than The White Stripes stuff.

And again, I like The White Stripes.

Curiousity 46. Given this is the treehouse experimental series u run the risk of being disappointed, especially if ur not a major fan boy. No disappointment here. Cheers

Beer #2 is Logical Choice by AleSmith. This is actually really good for a triple. It's bitter as shit, alcohol is fairly well hidden, and it only cost me like 2 bucks (in California, mind you). Really glad I picked it up. Cheers BA!

Enjoying the last nice day we will probably have for awhile. @superspak sent me this one.

Very nice nose with some orange tic-tac, orange smoothie, and mandarin orange! orange orange orange! Flavor translates pretty well with some piney bitterness balancing it out. Unfortunately this one has a diesel/ethanol element to it which distracts from what would otherwise be a clean profile. At only 8% I count that a flaw. The feel is within margin. Overall I rated it a 3.79 out of 5.

My last of this release. It’s dark chocolate and bourbon. That coffee has long since sailed. Still much better than the Willitized version:

Amen. He’s matured so much throughout his career. The Dead Weather album Horehound is one of my favorite works of his. I saw the Raconteurs open for Bob Dylan (who was garbage BTW) back in 2007. They only played a one hour set and it absolutely blew me away. The dude’s a genius. Cheers pal.

I am liking 2017 over 2018. This needs some age on it to tone it down.

A very nice nose of peanut butter if a bit metallic, and the flavor translates pretty well with nuts, peanut butter, NesQuik, and slight coffee/toast. The feel left a lot to be desired as my sample was pretty thin and undercarbonated. A nice roasty finish though. 3.84 out of 5.

Agreed. One of the better albums amongst the bunch. All good indeed.

I respect what he's doing now with solo junk and what not. But prefer The White Stripes. Respectfully :stuck_out_tongue:
