What beer are you drinking now? #2001

In DC watching the Capitals and drinking an over priced Monumental IPA from the local Port City Brewing Co.



Pretty stoked though, never been to this park before!

 

That beer is like what you probably would experience if Lionel Messi kicked a sock filled with oatmeal, chocolate, and coffee into your mouth. If anyone else did it, it would be horrible. But since he did it, your life would be immediately better.

Took the kids to the park today and went for ice cream. This place by me does s’mores ice cream which is graham cracker flavored ice cream with mini chocolate chips and marshmallows. Of course, I got it on a chocolate sprinkle covered waffle cone. Divine.

Then came home and finally did some yard work

Black Ops 2016 on cask at NERAX 2018. All is good.

 

Loving the Mikkeller Hop Series series beers. So Hazy Met Sally, a really big beer. Wow, this is a Friday kinda beer, big and fruity, a bit boozy at 10%abv , but not distracting. Hard to balance this kind of beer but they did it with ease. The head lasts forever, a really well constructed beer. The Mikkeller hoppy beers I’ve had so far are really first rate beers.

Edit: This beer is f-ing awesome! It ranks up there with how much I loved Dirt Wolf when I first tried it:

I kinda regret going to see Rampage over going to the Cubs game today. I also kinda want to go to a baseball game in Gary Indiana. Usually that's a sign that you have had enough beer.
