Good beer.. reminds me a lot of PBR with more hops.. just enough flavor but thin, clean and dry enough to stay drinkable.

It's altbier day for me. A style that's hard to come by around here. Alaskan Amber. Compared to Metropolitan Iron Works, this is more earthy, a little less malty sweetness, and hops are more subdued. Metropolitan wins. But for some reason, I can get ahold of the Alaskan beer easier than the Metropolitan, which is brewed in my home state.

Just stepped outside to get a head start on shoveling hopefully the last snowfall of the year. Wasn't expecting this layer of heavy wet nonsense. Using my handy Abyss measuring stick, I'd estimate 18 inches in spots.

Switching gears from a sour mode to stout. Up next is a mouthful, so let me crack my knuckles and so some finger stretches before I type the name of this beer out. Ok, here it goes....
Evil Twin’s The Stout That You Like Is Going To Come Back In Style (whew) is up next. This is a mighty tasty stout, and incredibly smooth for being 12ABV. It reminds me of Perennials Abraxas in some sense, but maybe not as refined. Regardless, this is a damn good beer. Time to enjoy this bad boy with some sunshine.

Happy Saturday ba. Gotta keep consumption light today since I’m heading over to deal with the fiancé. Heavy is the Crown, ipa, collabo between Barrier/LIC Beer Project. It’s pretty dry with lots of white wine notes. Not bad but both of these guys make far better examples on their own.

Picking up where I left off yesterday. Canned on 3/8/18. I like this one, but there's def. better options for NE style IPAs. Can't beat the price though.

Checking out this stout from Dugges...
Sweet, lots of vanilla and coffee and chocolate, maybe some hints of mild anise; smooth, fairly light feeling; not getting much bitterness or roastiness... Solid beer based on the label, features da Matteo roasted Colombian Tabi coffee, vanilla, rye malt and oats; but for my tastes, perhaps a bit sweeter and lighter than I typically prefer...

    Cheers...

Beer number 8. And, for the record, @CanConPhilly is cheating, with his radlers, Coronas and the like...

This is a collab from some local brewers it’s pretty average it’s hoppy and malty just kind of muddled
