Other Half in April

I realize what I am about to post may get me thrown into the penalty box, but is it just me, or is Triple Cream > 4th Anniversary? Both are great, but I think I like the TC better. Anyone else?

And perfect storm of a release today. Rolled up at 10:55, no line, got my ACE and a few others. And maybe a growler of Triple Cream.

 

I find the craziness (amount of lactose?) to be too much past a can, but it's delicious. On the other hand I can drink the 4th only limited by the alcohol content and wanting to actually enjoy it properly.
But I'm a strong believer in subjective taste. So I can see that being a preference if you like the smoothness over the hops. Anyone that tells you otherwise is the same person on a Reddit page debating the plot holes of the most recent Star Wars.

 

It may likely be the smoothness-
4th veils the 10%, Triple Cream completely hides the burn.

 

Anyone with impressions of 495 to share? Generally I haven't enjoyed the Vermont yeast beers as much, but remain curious.

 

Galaxy + El Dorado on tap this weekend. ‘Twas delicious stuff. Looking forward to that one going into cans.

 

Had a taster of 495nm, tastes like the other Vermont yeast IPA's they've made, if you liked those you'll like this.

Random Monday Drop? I can dig it. Galaxy + El Dorado was good from the little taste I had.

 

DDH Double Mosaic Dream: 8.5% Double dry hopped imperial IPA w/ mosaic.

Mellow Tones N Juice: 8.5% Collaboration with Rigs of Dad - Imperial IPA with city, galaxy and double dry hopped with denali, tomahawk and city lupulin powder + oats.

Feels Like Outer Space: 10% Double IPA with galaxy, el dorado, vic secret + oats and wheat.

Equilibrium Collaborations-
Bad Hairday: 10.5% Imp. IPA w/ city, el dorado, nelson, nelson sauvin, denali w/ oats and wheat

Einsteins Daydream: 8% Imperial Oat Cream IPA with simcoe, city and mosaic.

 

WTF is city? Citra?

 

I assume it's a typo. Most likely Citra.

10.5% IPA turned around in 2 weeks, wonder if that'll be hot on release.
