Interesting coincidence actually. They were speculating about a ghost pepper variant that they refer to as Dragon Abortion.

I wonder how many "metal" guys endure the beer posts on here, and how many "beer" guys endure the music posts? (written by a beer guy scrolling through the metal stuff)

Id say my love for Death Metal and beer is about equal. Thus, making DLD truly the best day of the year for me.

Pallbearer played in 2015, they are doom metal.

Corrosion Of Conformity also played in 2015, and they are more stoner/southern metal with clean vocals.

    Big Freedia performed in 2015:

Monotonix played, they are more noise rock.

Melvins played at the 15th anniversary party.

Sybris is indie rock, and they played multiple years.

    Mucca Pazza played in 08.

not from DLD but you get the idea

But it does lean heavy towards death/sludge/thrash/grindcore screaming/growling vocals metal.

Whatever year Lair of the Minotaur played-I thought that set was just great. Was a blast drinking the evil power song and drinking the evil power beer

Same for me, I literally go 50% for beer and 50% for music, especially since they are getting bigger and bigger bands. My only complaint about the music is the lack of legit black metal, I mean I love me some Goatwhore but gimme some kvlt shit. I wanna see Marduk, Watain, 1349... hell even newer stuff like Uada or Forteresse. These dudes' stage shows already look like a FFF label, it'd be a perfect fit.

... and now that 90% of you have stopped reading, back to beer I guess? I just locked down a couple trades to get some fresh Trillium and Pliny the week before DLD, not even mad about it.

Gorgoroth's black mass at DLD would be probably the most epic thing of all time. If we thought people complained about the music now, just imagine if someone like Behexen or Marduk played. Holy shit.

Also, for being the most metal dude on this forum, pm me and find me at DLD. I'll have a pour of BA Sump waiting for you.

Is the sound that good at Three Floyd's? I dig the pairing, but I think I'd rather see a metal band in a little club, with a couple hundred people. Outside, or in the warehouse, with a bazillion "fans", sound diluted or all echoey, not for me. Or is it?
