    Liberty Ale from Anchor Brewing. A rare find around these parts, though some other brews from Anchor are widely available.

    I still regret I didn't bring the Unibroue glass that I had in Vancouver two years ago. Tasted all their beers (I think) when I was there. Trois Pistoles is outstanding and Fin du Monde is also one of my favorites.

    Brilliant clear light gold color with white cap.

    Aroma of sweet malt, fresh yeast bread, and spicy, floral hops. Something a bit sweet in the background like wildflowers.

    Taste is a good deal bolder than the scent with sweet malt reaching out and pulling you into a charming embrace. Hops are a plus here in that they add in a matchingly bold way without raising their voices any louder than necessary. Fairly simple flavors seamlessly woven into a greater whole. I like the way everything finishes as clearly as was started with just enough lingering hop bitterness to dispel any remaining malt sweetness.

    More than medium texture with balancing carbonation.

    I can proclaim this one a winner even before the votes are counted.

    [​IMG] A Dandwich and introducing Pinapple Funk Sour, brewed with a ton of pineapples not my thing but light and crisp with tiny hit of sour in the finish. 5% ABV solid.
