FVM 17 is the reason I am not going this year after 5 in a row. Not paying that much per ounce for a completely unknown item that most likely (in my personal experience) will be shit.

Unfortunately for me, my last few variants are FVM 17, Biggleswade, Temeculan 3000. All shit. So no more money from me. Make variants that people actually want.

You could sell/trade your variant (even the “lesser” ones) and still have a great time at DLD. I understand that adds a layer of something else to do in order to get “value” from the fest, but it is not too difficult either.

I'm not going to say Metal isn't music, but when inanimate objects like airplanes start getting metal fatigue....

Oh shit, I'd go see Hall & Oates. They're not playing with Train are they?

This isn’t terrible. Last time I attended, I drank/shared a bunch of Barrel-aged/high ABV stuff earlier on in the day, then switched exclusively to Yum Yum/Deesko/Pale Ale guest taps, a lot of food, and eventually water, water, water during the last bands. Definitely made the trip to Chicago at the end a whole lot easier, and the next morning!

They should book Fozzy. I want to rip Flying Tigersaults with Chris Jericho.

They should also book YOB. Looks like they're doing a smattering of festivals in the spring before their summer tour. I feel like metal geeks and non metal folks could both appreciate that set.

Bring the Noise by Anthrax and Public Enemy was my jam back in the day... That counts as metal, right? I’m trying here, boys.
