    another cold and rainy spring day is upon us here in NYC, but thats not stopping me from enjoying a favorite of mine that i dont get to drink often enough..Bible Belt..Cheers!!

    Awesome Gose by Freigeist, this is what they do best. Sublime rhubarb note backed by light spice and sea salt. Perfect balance, fantastic stuff.



    EDIT: Anyone else having trouble with imgur lately? Took me multiple tries to actually get this to display correctly. Same yesterday.

    Good morning BAs! Today's New Breakfast Beer turned into Forgotten That I'd Already Tried It Breakfast Beer.



    Still quite good, no matter when it was brewed.

    And no, no problems with IMGUR yesterday or just now.

    Abita's take on the current trend . . .

    Hazy light gold color with lasting white cap and lacing.

    Aroma of ripe tropical fruits and sharp citrus. It really smells better than that short sentence implies.

    Flavor is hop forward (45 ABV) but not in a bitingly bitter sort of way. It's a gentle hop approach that's more luscious than sharply citrus where ripe fruit flavors take the lead. Malt is present as a base but really doesn't contribute much in the way of malt flavor.

    Medium texture with balancing carbonation.

    So what is it? Brewer says it's a Juicy Pale Ale and that works for me.

    Round Tower from Mikkeller San Diego. It’s a Double Dry Hopped NE Style IPA brewed with experimental hop HBC 682.
