"... he wasn’t aware the oil needed federal approval, since it contains no THC..."
"... he wasn’t aware that his terpenes oil-infused beers needed federal approval..."

Not to be unkind, but what is this? Beavis and Butt-Head brew beer?

How can you be running a production brewery and be unaware of the TTB recipe approval requirements?

I've said it before, and I'm sure I'll have to again: You don't have to be a good brewer or have the ability to run a business properly to open a brewery. All you need is a few million dollars.

Eventually I suppose we will need another beer style for this. First NEIPA, now...cannabis ale :sunglasses:

Not just that, Lagunitas collaborated with Absolute Xtracts on some IPA-flavored marijuana concentrate vape cartridges, branded packaging and everything.

Many breweries are making terpene flavored beers, not just in South Florida. That said, only two of those breweries (relatively new and quite small in terms of production capacity) received letters. J Wakefield cancelled his upcoming 4/20 event...other breweries have not (yet)

Is the problem them using terpenes specifically extracted from cannabis? You can buy any terpene in bulk easily and legally, synthetic or naturally derived (not sure they all have synthetic versions). I don't understand what the problem is at all, there are definitely terpenes that are FDA approved.
