Had I gotten the email, that would have been good info. They're still trying to figure out why I'm only getting some emails and not all.

I think every month so far has seen 2 sets of allocations, one on the first Monday and another on the third Monday. Some have been retreads and archives.

Frankly, I can't believe it's already April 18, but that's just me. Time files when you're trying to make a dent in your beer cellar I guess....

Anyone start trying the beers from the Hoarder's box?

I honestly just forgot to order last weekend. Bummed to have missed out.

I've had Cherum Stomp and Sangria Tuesday so far.

The former was super sweet and super tart at fridge temperature, with the tartness subsiding a bit as it warmed, and more cherry flavor coming through (didn't get much plum, but apparently a cherum is supposed to be pure cherry flavor with the positive growing conditions of plums? the more you know!). I liked this one quite a bit, but it is one hell of an acidity bomb. There were not enough Tums in the world for my acid reflux infected heart...

The second was amazing. Without a doubt my favorite BT variant yet. The red wine, BT flavor, and orange came together so well, it actually tasted like BT and sangria at the same time. There might have been a bit of cranberry if I went looking for it, but didn't get any apple flavor or aroma. Fucking great.

Trying Room for Less tonight, then Rasberry Kisses tomorrow night. I can keep giving tasting notes if people are interested. *shrug*

I’m doing my lineup next week... I think it’s pretty similar, if not identical to yours InfiniteJester...

    Six days of Hoarders Box:
    Mon: Cherum
    Tues: Sangria
    Wed: Room
    Thurs: Kisses
    Fri: Sunburnt Zebra w/Vanilla
    Sat: BT Vanilla

And then I’m saving the other six for a bottle share.

Yea, that's exactly my order! Any tasting notes? Curious to see what they're tasting like to other people!

Cherry Chocolate Rain...is not on draft this week? Boo, I hate that.

Has anyone opened up a bottle of OTWB? If so, how's it tasting compared to from draft...if you've had it both ways.

Opened one of my OTWB bottles on Tuesday, loved it. Great balance of the cinnamon, coffee and maple.. Couldn't taste any Almond, but the maple is the glue that holds that beer together. Capped it for the next day's trip to see Ready Player One and it was still on point.

This is something I’m kind of starting to have an issue with when it comes to the TR’s, especially considering I live 350 miles away and only make it down once every month or two: There is virtually no rhyme or reason as to what/where/if any of the month’s allocations are on tap, other than SMM itself. When I got to go last month, NONE of the allocations were on tap at either place, so I didn’t get to try anything before buying. This Monday, CCR wasn’t on tap at either place either. Historically, an allocation was usually consistently on tap throughout the entire month... but it’s become so spotty now. I’m curious if there is a reason for this @BruerJoel. I’d love to be able to try the allocation before buying it.

I'm much closer than you, but far enough I can't make it to SMM. This is my biggest complaint with the bruery this year.

Sure looks to be on tap at the OG taproom right now? Unless it was added late last night.

    they updated it last night!

I'll tell myself they listened to my comment yesterday, haha.

Or it was a coincidence. Anyways, I'm glad.

Ok, I've now tried two more of the beers: Room for Little and Rasberry Kisses.

Room for Little: Another real acid bomb, but the tartness is more balanced with the fruit flavors at all temperatures. I was definitely getting a lot of citrus in the aroma (maybe me misidentifying the nectarines?), but considerable peachiness was noticeable in the taste. I feel like the base beer flavors actually come through on this one, despite there being A LOT of fruit flavors going on. I think this was a damn good beer, but it kind of feels less unique/special than the other three I've had; it's the only one that I've thought "That really could be a standard Terreux sour blonde release". Odd complaint, given I enjoyed the beer so much...

Raspberry Kisses: I did not expect this beer to be so maroon in color. There are also noticeable "chunks" in it; I think these were bits of nut, but there might have also been some raspberry seeds. At fridge temp, there was a nice (but a bit subdued) nut aroma, and a malty taste with just a hint of vanilla sweetness. Raspberry comes out as it warms, slowly building up until it is the dominant flavor; there even is a bit of a tart pucker from the beer at room temperature. Definitely a very balanced interesting beer, and one that genuinely changes its character at different temperatures.

It's B&B&R&V tonight, and then the one I'm most excited for on Saturday: BT with vanilla!

Anyone know when the Hoarders boxes are shipping? It's going to be hard to enjoy them fresh if we don't get them for two weeks.

Anyone hear if they have been granted the second hoarders box as a request?
