First cans! Freshly run on their new canning line today, and handed to me by the brewer on the streets through our car windows like a drug deal! Guava, Mango, Pine, mild White Wine. ColdFire's Tangle of Tigers smashes harder than Helen does Steven.

 

No Elastic, Extra Drawstring IPA: a Cellarmaker/Other Half collab. Generally, I think collabs are less than the sum of their parts, but this is stellar.

 

Solid and crushable hoppy lager.

 

It can be an ipa, and don’t call it Shirley.

 

Last call here ba. Thanks to @colts9016 for this one. 8 maids a milking, imperial milk stout- 11.3%. Not the biggest fan of milk stout but this isn’t really that. Much more of a pure imperial stout. Very smooth with good stick. Lots of chocolate malt, black liquorish, carmel, and vanilla. The Belgian aspect seems to be rather drowned out of which I’m thankful for. Pretty decent drinking. Actually has a 10/8/15 bottle date. I didn’t realize it was aged.

 

I went back for seconds. Purely for quality assurance purposes of course.

 

I know this is crazy, even worse I hafta see pics of hauls of morels on my mushroom pages posted by folks south of here with better weather . Very depressing. Good thing there is beer.

 

So lately I have been stating over hype on certain beers from treehouse and trillium. This is my first HOTS and damn it's good. Cheers

 

Bedtime beer

 

Good evening, all! Sunny day here in the Cedar Valley with temps in the 40's, and all the slush and snow we got yesterday has just about melted off. I think I'll celebrate with this Voodoo Ranger Juicy Haze IPA. This isn't too bad, but it has an odd umami thing going on that I'm not crazy about. That said, it makes a dynamite pairing with an English muffin sandwich with egg, cheese, and a breakfast chop.
