IG post didn't indicate line length, is there even one now? Yes I'm three minutes away by bike but #saturdaylazy.

They just updated IG, about 20 cases left. I’ll settle for growler fills.

No line. Looks like supplies are dwindling.

I wasn't able to resist heading down, put in Other Half in Google maps...and thankfully...I just realized the F train wasn't running. So that stopped me.

I got here about 10 minutes after their most recent IG sold out update and got the last couple of 4 packs. Came down for growlers so this was an unexpected surprise!

+1 to Einstein's Daydream being great.

Interesting line this morning. Hazeboiz out in full effect. The teku-punting guy walked past me about 4 times and I heard him yell "FUCK OUTTA HERE!" approximately once per passing. I wonder what it's like being a living, breathing meme.

Also big shoutout to the asshole that accused me of line-cutting and demanded to see the number on my bracelet because he didn't understand the concept of hiring a line-sitter. Then when shown my bracelet number kept repeating "funny...I haven't seen you this whole time" even though I had been in front of him in line for over an hour before our interaction. Keep on fighting the good fight.

I set my alarm around 7:30am to check the line situation. Did a quick search on IG and saw this:

that’s when I knew I wasn’t waiting in line. I talked to one of the guys here and he said it’s one of the worst lines he’s seen in quite some time.

Aren’t those guys actually going the whole way and buying the beer for the “customer”? Above sounds a little different - would also say I hadn’t heard of that either.

You can do either depending on what time you want them to show up/how long you want them to stay. I opt for the switch which allows me to show up about an hour before they open.

    Ah I had no idea

Do a lot of you guys (meaning BAs who are active in this thread) use this type of service? Whether to go the whole way and have them buy the beer, or to do a partial line wait?

Yes, that’s my understanding. The line dudes are well known, people hire them for theater tickets, sneaker releases, etc. I guess the beer scene is next.

My younger sisters were big fans of that quintessential 90's YA book series "The Babysitters Club" and all I can think of are the ridiculous captions and cover art "The Linesitters Club" book series would yield. That's a fucking comedy goldmine if you got the time and artistic skills.

Hahaha now you've got me thinking about the YA series "The Animorphs", and the cover art I'm picturing is neckbeards morphing into folding chairs.
