I'll have to check it out. Knowing the demographics of the average beer event, I was afraid it would just be suburban dads playing the Beastie Boys over and over.

 

No not at DLD. They will have some up and coming underground rappers. Don't miss it

 

Also, I'd like to say that it is a pretty big oversight that Cloakroom hasn't played and probably won't play DLD. I know they're not metal, but neither was Corrections House - and just because you have a member of Neurosis doesn't mean you're good. Listen to Cloakroom.

 

I don’t believe the hip hop tent was there last year, but it was in 2016. That’s where I was in 2016 most of the day because of the rain, and it was great.

 

Do we have a DLD intern to call up each guest brewery and ask what they’re bringing?

I don't know Cory personally but judging from quick interactions at releases he seems like the nicest dude you could ever hope to encounter.

Honestly, and as Ive already mentioned, I'm curious what FFF brings to the table due to lack of BA releases this past year.

Options:

They have tons of Dark Lord variants ready to go for taps and maybe that has been what has occupied barrels all year.

They have nothing ready to go except vintage BA beers like Behemoth and Conquistador and Moloko and a few DL variants

 

I think the ones I'm most intrigued to see are:

Prairie
Modern Times
Cigar City
Perennial

Now, those could turn out to be duds if they bring some of their more basic beers, but they have some high upside.
