If anyone still has an extra ticket for one of the early sessions, I'm still ISO. Obviously don't have brrz on hand to give you right now as I'm traveling for work, but we can figure something out.

I'm wondering how literally The Bruery will take this definition of Bananas Foster:

Bananas Foster is a dessert made from bananas and vanilla ice cream, with the sauce made from butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, dark rum, and banana liqueur. The butter, sugar and bananas are cooked, and then the alcohol is added and ignited.

Looking forward to a flaming glass of rum-bourbon-vanilla-banana beer.

In case anyone is wondering, this is what the provisions menu looked like:

And that was a great time, thanks to everyone at the Bruery for making the party fun, smooth, and full of beer. Delicious, delicious beer.

I'm gonna wuss out and rate it like this:
    1. Vanilla Coffee BT, Bananas Foster BT, Grey Monday
    2. BT 2012
    3. Mint BT

Bananas are actually one of the few foods I do not like so I was hesitant about the BF but still really enjoyed it. No Chocolate Rain at the Provisions party either (we did get a preview taste of the Rueze tho), but it was still an awesome time.

I thought it was pretty good - admittedly it's not a style I'm super familiar with but I enjoyed it. Super tart right off the bat then it quickly mellows out. They mentioned it will carb up a bit more in the bottle as time passes (I suppose it was a tad flatter than you'd expect). Also it wasn't cold - not sure if that was on purpose or not. All in all and good refreshing end to the tasting tho, and a nice surprise.

    1) Vanilla Coffee BT
    2) Chocolate Rain
    3) Grey Monday
    4) Bananas Foster BT
    5) Black Tuesday 2011
    6) Black Tuesday 2012
    7) Mint Chocolate BT

Although all the variants and years were delicious, so the rankings should be more of a 1a, 1b, 1c, etc.
My glass of Mint Chocolate was not very minty, but my understanding was that if you got some that had been sitting in the randall for a few minutes you were pretty happy.

I really enjoyed it. I'd compare it to a slightly less complex Cantillon. The predominant flavor is the tartness, but there's some funk too, and a bit of fruitiness (mostly apricot and citrus). The carbonation was light but I don't really care about that. And Patrick said it was bottled with Brett, so the funk should increase a bit in time, which could make it really great. I'm definitely going to buy out my allocation.

Eh, my glass was like a liquid Andes mint, it gave an almost menthol feeling to your breathing. I was not a fan.
