What beer are you drinking now? #2011

Looks like I'm about to add the Great Lakes train going on here. One of my favorites from them:

 

Miller Lite is pretty inoffensive when cold. Just don't let it get warmer than fridge temp.

 

I actually drink these in the summer out by the pool. Not a lot of flavor but easy to consume on a hot day. I would give Old Style a shot or PBR, they are pretty tasty beers when ice cold.

Happy Monday

Just heard the news from my (Colombian) gf, that there was a strong quake today close to her hometown....prayers all are safe there!

 

It has all the same great flavors and aroma, just less. If you have another, just add a two ounces is water, if you three ounces of water you'll have Miller 64!

 

Picked it up at Sterk when I was in Amsterdam last week.

I’m drinking a Juicin’ IPA from Bluetarp brewery out of a cool Wicked Weed Funkatorium Teku glass (hated the brewery, love the glass). The glass isn’t making the beer taste any better!!

 

Founders KBS... had this at a family tasting, bit the bullet and secured a 4 pack (thank you, BIL). While I will probably never seek it out again, I'm glad I get to try it.

 

This kinda sums up the end of Green Flash for me. Realizing too late that they abandoned what they were known for and quite good at, while still being somewhat out of touch with the current beer landscape. Not to mention freshness issues. Just a simple date stamp is all I ask! I hope they can resurrect themselves, but I'm not holding my breath.
