Apparently they were going to name it Nuclear Disaster but 1. They thought this might actually cause one to happen and 2. It may end up being too accurate of a description

 

Last year on this day. We hit page 100 and unlocked the variant/band list.

 

Oh Yeah! As soon as we hit 100 pages the variants were released. Almost forgot about that.

 

I’ll do my part to get to 100 pages.

You know it is fake because no Muscat. I can’t even fathom a variant list where Ronaldo in Port is by far the worst variant. FFF can’t resist making multiple lemons worse than that.

 

I SO wish that variant list was real. There is no way 3 Floyds would be that good to us all. There has to be some shitty wine barrel variants in the mix so not everyone can be happy. It's the way of the Dark Lord.

 

I would crap my pants if the variant list dropped and there was nothing gross or shitty on there.

 

Does that mean its finally the year we get the highly sought after malort barrel aged variant with cardamom?

That fake list started here and has been posted to numerous Facebook groups. It seems to pop up every couple days at this point. Hopefully we get the list a week or so before the fest, and not the morning of!

 

I hope we never get a list...the howls of terror the week leading up to DLD would be glorious. They should just give us the tote bags at DLD and let us find out for ourselves what is in there.

This use to be the case... endlessly refreshing twitter in the car morning of DLD waiting for the announcement....

 

They should use color coded bottle caps under the wax and only release the mapping after DLD. That way none one knows what they got at the fest and scalpers won't be asking everyone what they got.

 

I like this idea, but could you imagine the pandemonium!?

 

Variant name inside the cap so the only way to find out which one you got is to open the bottle. Would cut down on profiteering although some dipshits would still try to sell 2oz hand labeled vials, I'm sure.

its like Christmas morning, if you knew what you were opening, would it be as fun?

so, since i know mr three floyds himself reads my posts, don't tell us variants. let us figure it out when we grab our bag and run back outside in excitement, screaming "i got the wutang variant, its called C.R.E.A.M" (bourbon barreled, ass loads of lactose and some kush for good measure)

bands just play, with out announcing who they are. you're just there to enjoy the music, the random variants, and the random interactions you have with people. who cares who is playing, right?

We'd definitely hit 400 pages if that was the case.

 

I dig the idea, and even moreso, I really dig the potential pandemonium. As much as I like to know info beforehand, this would be a fantastic twist to DLD.
