Well , they do call New Brunswick the "drive-through province". I suspect that taking the train through would fit...

I should point out that New Brunswick is actually very beautiful, just not the parts you tend to see while driving through it.

    Hint #1:

My target is located closer to me geographically than in any of the previous CANBIFs in which I've participated.

    Hint #2:

One of the following statements is true:

I have received beer from, but never sent beer to my target.
I have sent beer to, but never received beer from my target.
I have sent beer to, and received beer from my target.

    Hint #3

My target has a favorite style. While the larger share of my box will be made up of local bottles, I am including a flavoured version of his favorite style from Florida, a barrel aged version of his favorite style from Vermont, and a plain old regular version of his favorite style from Michigan. The bottle from Florida is from a brewer that produces one of his top 20 rated beers. The bottle from Vermont is from a brewery he has yet to tick. The bottle from Michigan is the regular version of a bourbon barrel aged beer he has already tried, and liked.

My target will have to wait a bit for beer as I'm going to be out of town for a few days at the end of the month, but I'll be buying you beer there so it'll be worth the wait!

    Hint 2(i): Glorious and free.

    Hint 2(ii): Hope restored.

I just dropped off two rather heavy boxes that will be sent out tomorrow!

    They should land next week.

    Possibly one by Friday.

    Maybe.

I've just come back from Hill Farmstead. Maybe I've put one bottle into one box or the other one... I don't remember anymore!

The first box should arrive Apr 30 and the second one May 1.

Be sure to be at home

    To my Sender.

I am game for pretty much anything. Not a coffee drinker and I don't dig on smoke. Other than that, send me what you like and I am sure it will be awesome.

I am cfrancis on the other sites to find out what I have had.

    To my Target:

    All-White, All-White, All-White!

To my sender - thank you in advance for your kindness. Really like sours and saisons; also like any stylistically accurate Kolsch, dunkel, maibock or lager, in general. Tend to prefer lower abv beers. Generally, I’ll drink anything - except hazy or sweet pale ales/IPAs. And if you do send those, totally good too, since I’ll bring them to a bottleshare in Toronto. There is no bad beer where friends are concerned, so thank you for whatever you send.

I saw that on a bottle of beer last summer (at least I think it was written in English and not Latin).

My box is sent. I took 12 as merely a suggestion, and found room to toss a few more cans in whatever left over space I could find. Good variety pack as my target didn't seem too picky and generally liked the same styles as me. And no, it's not all Bellwoods.

Told @Electros about it the other day ... cracked my last 12 shipper shuffling some storage around so I will be a late shipper in the game as I’ll be waiting to resend the one I receive.

In return for their patience, my target will be getting a couple of extra beers (my regular trading partners can vouch for my willingness to cram a shipper as tightly as possible)

Well my box will be ready to go Friday if one of the local breweries releases their new beer on Thursday - if not and if they release it on Friday the box will be headed out on Monday.

I fortunately and unexpectedly came into some prized local treats last weekend - so I think the contents of the box I'm sending will give a good representation of the beers that are being produced in Atlantic Canada.

What’s the best way to fit more cans and small bottles in the 12 slot shippers?

I assume that 2 cans can go in a slot, if you remove some material from the lid portion? Same for cans in the 4 inner cross section?

There doesn’t seem to be a way to double up on small bottles?

Small bottles are the kryptonite for filling a box. You may be able to get a 355 ml can and a 355 ml bottle in one slot.

The box is coming along, playing beer tetris to maximize the amount of liquid goodness inside!
My target is going to get a carefully curated selection of Maritime brews. And since my target doesn't have too many specific likes/dislikes, the box will contain a wide variety of styles.

Hint: Many of the beers will be fresh IPAs, which based on my online snooping seem to be one of your most consumed styles.
