@KrajDoesBeer - killing it, per usual. Wagon Wheel was balanced and enjoyable. Saison was really good - classic lemon and pepper, but the body was pillowy soft. Cheers!

 

This batch of Radio Swan is outstanding. So glad to get it fresh.

Hope everyone saw Corridors post! Most of ya know Roger started working on the Haze with BJ at FR. So when we collab it will be stuff we want to work on and experiment. Try things we think can really be awesome and fun for everyone.
2 collabs for craft beer week! Pretty excited about them.

Plenty of Radio Swan for the weekend! Most cases we have made of any beer! Distro and in house!

 

All of the new beers were solid. Assembly still tasting amazing.

Hmmm, am I reading correctly that radio swan available to go now? I’ve been wanting to try it for a while. Might need to stop in and get some if so. I work nearby

I’ve only one one FR beer and it was smoochie from the last release...which was obviously great

I may have missed this--Are the new beers (specifically Wagon) available to go? I'm not going to be in town this weekend, and will have to physically hurt myself if I miss Power Trip's new brother.

I'm visiting from Boston this weekend and based on the draft list and recommendations I think Forbidden Root is my #1 beer destination to hit up.

 

Their draft board is pretty ridiculous right now between their offerings and those guest taps. I'm as conditioned as anyone to show up only for specific releases or to-go options, but I can see that changing with the draft list they've put together.

 

As well it should be. Also hit Corridor and Dovetail if you have the chance.

 

I enjoyed Wagon Wheel, but didn’t think it was nearly as intense and flavorful as Power Trip. Definitely worth a pour - but you’ll enjoy it more if you think “very balanced and well-structured NEIPA” and not Power Trip flavor bomb.

If you’re visiting and bringing east coast treasures, FR is the perfect spot to do a quick tradesy...

Made it to FR today. Having Assembly Required now, which is nice. But I will say I'm most surprised by Mo Piccolo. I haven't had many single or session NE style ales that I've truly enjoyed (typically way to thin and fall flat in the middle for my liking). Piccolo hits all the notes all the way through. And extremely crushable. I hope they do this more often in the summer months (would also make a great can release imo).
