Might have to grab some. It just showed up here today. I begrudgingly passed for Collective Arts Life in the Clouds, but might have to revisit that decision. Life's tough sometimes...

 

I enjoyed both, but my preference was to Alpine Rain. I regret not getting a 4 pack.

Nope, I just completely missed it!

 

I remember liking it a bunch, but not as much as some of their other IPAs.

 

I had similar feelings toward it last year. FWIW, this iteration appears to be a slightly different recipe. Both feature Amarillo but the first one had Azacca additionally while this one appears to have included Centennial and Citra.

 

When is BHA released?

I know Galactic Double Daisy is Craft Beer week.

Is it mid June?

 

Last year was first weekend in June. I remember cans were dated May 30/31.

It was called Guest Lager. I’ve been waiting for them to brew this again for a while now. It’s been years but I loved this beer each time it was released.

 

Was the reason Akari Shogun only being a taproom release ever discussed? Being a beer writer for TJ's it'd kinda be nice to have more stuff to pick from than a majority of IPA's. Either way: Vallejo is great as ever.

My verdict is that Knowplace > Moonset. Just putting that out there.

Galactic Double Daisy cans should be dropping next Friday fyi

 

They dropped that beer down to small production levels when they chose to make tuna core brand.

The hops used in Tuna are more readily available that the hops in Akari. That may have played into their decision.

 

Is there any Move Through the Hills left for sale?
