This deal blew my mind, but saw it close:

2 King Julius + 1 Very Hazy + 1 Very Green : Vanilla Rye + Barrel Aged Affogato

the market on this is nuts right now, shouldn't be this high

 

Unbelievable...FOMO is real and it is painful to watch.

 

The secondary market price on King Julius is ridiculous as well. $100 to $150 I've seen so far for a 16 ounce can!!!!

 

Wow, that's a doozy. I'm hoping that they keep brewing some of these beers like KJ, VH, VG more frequently now, and maybe that'll make them a bit easier for some of us to try. Or not.

 

Just wait. Maybe in 2 weeks they will silent release King Jjjuuuullliius (Tap only normally, right?) at 1pp. Then maybe we can see:

ISO 2 KJuuulius FT: KBBS

 

Much like with VG, I expect we'll see the specialty things pop up more and more. VG went on a long hiatus and then popped up three times in three months. I'd be really surprised if we didn't see a similar pattern with VH, KJ, and anything else they re-introduce. So patience will likely be rewarded and the market likely driven down with more frequency.

Had to jump at that offer. Wondering if I should just trade the other KJ i got.

 

I dont doubt KJ is great, but the value floors me. It’s Doppelgänger with different hops.

 

I saw this trade offer on FB. The consensus seemed to be that this was trolling. At least I hope it was.

 

I don’t even want to know what it’s gonna be like when juice machine is released...

Nuts. I had a KJ last night. Delicious, but as with everything being produced at the new brewery, it wasn't on the same level as the last can of KJ I had from Monson. Tasted like what julius use to taste like.

 

That's what I'm afraid of. When I had Julius a couple years ago it blew my mind. When I had it earlier this year from the new Brewery it definitely was not as tropical and the Mango was subdued.

I've never had KJ and I'm excited to try it.

Please tell me this is fake. Or did KJ suddenly become a barrel aged pastry stout overnight or something?

 

I wanted it bad enough. I guess I'm the fool. It's not an easy beer to trade for. In a month or two people will be begging to give them away though, LOL
