Dude, I am sad to report that you and your circumstances are too much like mine. Not a diss and I hope it does not ruin your rep.

To be real though, got two grown daughters. Have heard many stories of creeps so I try not to be one of those. And yes, wives are always right no matter the subject.

One beer I sent clocks in at 11%. Be careful, old f**ks like us may have a problem.

Having a Broken Spoke/ Wata by Alchemist. Pretty tasty, Amarillo, Carmel and piny notes. Nice mouth feel goes bitter to sticky to drying. It looked like a friggin snow globe when I poured it. Most floaties I’ve seen in a beer.

It was really nice out tonight so I grilled some steelhead trout for dinner


On a semi humorous note, I put my meat thermometer in my pocket so I could carry the fish in the house. I forgot it was there and damn near impaled my yarbles when I sat down.

I rarely go more than 2 weeks without picking up some Shed IPA. One of my favorites, always reliable, and great with a meal. And brand new this week... it is now available in 16oz. tall boys !! But take a look, they changed their slogan from the bottle to the can, from "India Pale Ale with notes of Citrus, Pine & Resin" to "A delicious hop punch of Pine, Resin & Citrus". I totally agree with the re-ordering of the flavor descriptors... this has always been a more pine & earthy tasting IPA than a heavily citrus thing. [I prefer the drier, earthier IPA's. ] However I am not so crazy about "hop punch" in the new slogan ... a little too precocious.

I got pretty loopy off the Waldos', Monday night. Figure I best save the rest for this weekend. However, my wife asked if she could open one tonight to make some Snake Bites (beer & hard cider combined) to drink, while she watches Chopped on TV. I said sure go ahead, let's see who falls asleep in their clothes tonight.

Local liquor store had these as singles in the fridge so I grabbed one for science. Definitely sweet, but I'm getting a lot of hop presence which I'm enjoying, still boozy and in your face. I may pick up another single or so. But a sixer of this on my schedule is going to be a task.
