Any word on what's going to be available in the coming weeks?

Ayinger maibock is on draft at Row 34 currently and is delicious.

Berkshire Brewing is usually available by now, though I haven’t seen it.

On tap at Olde Magouns too.

Saw this at Ball Square last weekend.

Definitely swinging by for your Maifest on May 12th!

If it’s not apparent yet in this post, I dig German lagers. Especially the rare and mystical German Maibock. Haven’t seen Hofbrau yet though...gotta watch for old stock on that one though

Dorchester Brewing has a maibock on tap currently. And for what its worth, Night Shift has a dopplebock in cans right now.

I always go for the Berkshire Maibock and the Jack's Abby Maibock Hurts Like Helles. Apparently the latter will be canned now, but the can I saw online bears the label of their keller series so I worry it will only be available at the brewery. Alas, I stand mildly inconvenienced.

It's not a MA native, but I also regret that Victory stopped sending their Cultivator to Massachusetts. Nice beer.

Cultivator was a really nice beer, same with maibock hurts. I don't spread my beer shop purchases out across many spots nowadays but I haven't seen a Berkshire beer in over a year.

I think a lot of their beers say "Keller Series" on them now. Their Vienna said that but it hit distro.

Yes, that was a nice one. Oh well.

We've got Magnum Opus on tap at Medusa right now. Should be around for another 2 weeks or so.

What’s your take on the Berkshire Maibock? Used to enjoy it every year at this time but distro’s been spotty the past few yrs. Was told by someone one in the know it wasn’t quite “authentic“ but I enjoyed in nonetheless.

    Cheers!

This is from my review of it: "I love a well-made Maibock, and this one is one of them. It's up there with Smuttynose as a fine, well-made (and local) example of the style. Prosit!!"...

But, that was in 2003! Not sure if I've had it recently, though...

    Cheers!

Based on the look of the beer, I'm assuming that's not a Maibock. Looks more like one of their IPAs maybe?

Any sightings for the Berkshire Maibock? I’ve visited around 10 shops north & northwest of Boston the past few weeks & unable to find.

Jacks Abby Maibock just hitting distro now. I can’t remember having it before but looking forward to trying it based on JA’s treatment of lagers.
