I was feeling quite dissappointed with this Rome City from Brew Hub I bought at Publix last week. Checked the born on date, 8/29/17 don't think it should still be sold at that age....

 

This is average as fuck, fairly one dimensional.

Even if you don’t like Willie this is a cute song

Real Ale Three Lions Imperial IPA.
Big ripe citrus and tropical flavors and aromas.

 

Ran some errands with Mrs. Z and back home with this tasty treat I sat on the counter to warm up before we left (now 61degrees) - Prairie ‘s “Pirate BOMB”:



I’m with @superspak , this stout is world class. His review earlier this morning is spot on. My aged and somewhat limited faculties allow me only to share that the pour fizzed out w/in seconds leaving a thin ring and legs that sheeted the glass(gotta love thick legs!) Not the “prettiest” beer, but typical. The nose is peppery spirits, dark fruit and green chilies. Flavours of hot sauce, rum, oak (barrel) cocoa, chocolate and chilies up front; vanilla, oak, cherry, prune right behind; creamy spicy hot Swiss dark chocolate finish...can I say Yum!? Medium full plus (I’m still drinking as I “type” this into my cell phone...) feel with a smooth velvety tongue coating...I’m almost seduced until that peppery/alcohol (15%) bites me on the tip if my tongue! Overall this is a glorious sipper. Cheers gang!
