Yeah, all the people complaining about CM not making juice - they go and make an amazing one (better than anything else in the West Coast) and people don't care.

Can't wait to try both and Captain Terp which I've only heard good things about.

Can someone post a yay or nay on the two beers? Trying to decide if I should make it out to the city on a school night. :stuck_out_tongue:

I've been so into can releases lately that I've ignored my growlers. I may have to make an exception for this Other Half collab. Checking my spreadsheet I've only had 9 OH beers and it's a pretty even mix of: Loved 3, 3 were good/decent, and 3 were not good (but when trading who knows how fresh they were). But they have so much hype I need to try this lol

Both No Elastic and DDH Cantaloupe were good as hell. Got growler fills if both.

Agreed, DDH Cantaloupe was the star of the board for me and so was Captain Terp. No Elastic was as expected, great, but could have had a heavier mouthfeel if you ask me. Overall none of them disappointed.

Just tried these things (although only a sip of the Cap. Terp) + the newly released Hazy Bones, which has the same hop bill as No Elastic.

I couldn't agree with you more. DDH Cantaloupe was my fave. But next time I'd like to try a full pour of the Captain Terp to get a better impression. But all four were pretty good.

Yeah, right now the Cellarmaker board is awesome for hops. My favorite was actually Hazy Bones, but DDH Cantaloupe, No Elastic, Capn Terp and Ft Simcoe were all great too... Drinking my growler of Hazy Bones right now lol

Will Cellarmaker ever NOT make juice now? What happened to Are You Afraid of the Dank?/ Dank Statement/ Dank Williams?! And the description for Tiny Dankster claims "it's the little brother to our double IPA 'Original Dankster'" Literally haven't made that beer in 2-3 years.

The juice is good. But I miss what made Cellarmaker Cellarmaker.

    Yeah eff the haze bros.

But honestly, Cellarmaker still makes plenty of WC. I mean, their previous can release before this had Mo Simcoe which was fantastic. Hop Killah is coming up next on the board. But I do miss AYAOFD - hoping that makes a can someday.

Hope GOML is more like their original recipe. That could have been my favorite beer from them ever.

The last time they made it - the time they bottled it - it was crap.

Today's release was more mellow than most. I guess the thought of a taco beer scared people away, although I'm not sure why people didn't come for the hazy DIPA, since that's all people want nowadays?

    Taco Hands
is a haze bomb this year, compared to the WC 2017 version and the fusion 2016 version. I'm not really sure if the taco ingredients worked well in a juice bomb, so I will throw my preference for the 2016 & 2017 versions, but it's definitely a good beer in its 2018 iteration.

Get Off My Lawn was also very hazy and would probably appeal to the juice crowd. It's very tropical tasting, although it has some green/bitter edge to it that will probably go away with a little time in the cans. Definitely better than the bottle version in 2016, but either it's different from the 1st batch draft-only 2016 version I had... or I've changed. It's just decent/good.

Also got a pour of Manhattan Wisdom, and that's my favorite of the 3. It's not really tasting like a Manhattan at all, but the cherry complements the tartness of the beer. It's a pretty good "Cherry Tart Saison" and the presentation makes it!

Yeah, the only "taco" ingredient I get in this Taco Hands is the lime, but wow is this beer good. Back to the "neutral" Cellarmaker yeast strain that has tons of pineapple and tropical fruit notes. Wish they'd use this more in their beers. Brings me back to what got me to fall in love with their stuff to begin with.

The Get Off My Lawn is great too. Huge mouthfeel. Big tropical, lime, citrus notes. Good zesty bitterness to balance it out.

Sounds like they will have some available for a couple days, which is nice since i could not get there today, and probably not tomorrow either. Here's to Thursday!

Prefer this year's Taco Hands to last but 2016 is still my favorite. I remember finishing a growler of that in 5 minutes with my friends.

Not getting as much coriander and tortilla shells in this taco hands this year. Maybe its all the hops and haze? Still fudging fantastic though. So was GOML.
