Last year we ended up in a spot that was WAY too crowded. Lesson learned. If it happens again this year, I would suggest making it in the staging area near the south gate. That place had plenty of room last year.

Good luck, homie! Last year IP sales last pretty much all day, and they ended up putting them for sale on their merch page. I wouldn't count on that again though. I'd be there early if it were do or die.

 

I am kidding about the DL soaking, but I do use cheap bourbon to soak wood chips in overnight and then use that soaking liquid with some water or beer for the water bath to keep ribs moist.

do you have to be on a desktop / laptop to activate your wristband? having a helluva time on my phone..

 

FYI- no prepaid cards. Got this today from etix.... I guess the wife can keep tabs on me after all.

I feel like I get a much better bark through dry brining. I usually plan my smokes well in advance though.

 

Yeah I’m not expecting it to last as long as last years IP Sale. If I’m not mistaken last years didn’t get a notice the day before. I thought they announced it same day they sold them. Could be mistaken though.

 

I feel like they don't have as many to spare. People getting tickets early via Etix might have effected that. Also, last year you knew there was a possibility of getting vintage when buying pub sale tickets. These will probably fly tomorrow.
