My buddy is down in San Jose (staying in Campbell). He's never had Pliny the Elder so I want to change that. I also want him to bring me one home. Can anyone confirm a spot to pick up some bottles? He's having a hard time finding it.

Extremely surprised to see Pliny posts on those Instagrams, as RR specifically asked retailers not to post Pliny on social media a couple of years ago. Maybe they've walked that back?
Huh, pretty sure every single bottle shop/liquor store with an instagram account that I follow or have followed in the past post all/most of the time when they get it in. Even the ones that seem more "professional", like Bottlecraft do it.
Definitely not in L.A. . . . I'm good friends with my LBS owner, and he was asked not to do so. I track most of the L.A. Instagram accounts, and no one else does it down here, either.
You're probably just too late. They deliver on the 3rd Thursday of each month-ish. So it was about two weeks ago fresh bottles came.
Also, if he’s got a car and doesn’t mind a late morning drive to SF, City Beer gets it every Wed. around noon. It’s about as easy a drive to the City as it gets. Or, just drive up to RR and grab a case!
