What beer are you drinking now? #2025

I don't normally drink coffee in the morning, but when I do, it's the baby.

 

Good morning and Good afternoon BAs! Well, the birds are squawking outside my bedroom window so it's time to get this day off and running (Well, actually, that was ninety minutes ago when I got up and performed the daily SSS ritual in the best tradition of British troops in India).
Today's New Breakfast Beer is:



Meh.

 

My wife and I returned home late last night (actually early this morning) from our trip to Nashville. Nice city. I woke up way too early, then realized I don't go back to work until Thursday!

 

Monday morning and the living is easy . . .





Light yellow color with white cap and little lacing.

Mild citrusy aroma and I believe I can detect a touch of tea.

Taste is brightly tart in a lemony sort of way. The citrus is prominent here with everything else following. Flavors are simple and straight forward, the combination being bright and cheerful.

 

Going out to look for fungi. Nothing like some Juice and BT's for breakfast on days like this. WiFi in the other glass (not shown). Cheers!

 

After my game ran late last night, a sorry attempt at a nap and then another overnight that just ended...should be my last for awhile(yay!)...I am fucking tired.

This still tastes fantastic. I may have another but I’m not gonna last long this morning.

I am revisiting my failed FES that I brewed six months ago while mashing in a rye IPA. Hoping for better results today. On the bright side, the FES turned into a passable caramel and chocolate barleywine...

Yerp. Back to a recent new-to-me find. Still bangin'. Although... I must say after that Comrade Superpower IPA on Friday night... now THAT beer I need to find again. That thing was awesome.
