    Wakin' up slowly, after a garbage truck 'ruptured' my sleep this morning. Time to put the AC window unit in today....in a casement window. Good times, yeah.

    I usually am not one to drink before before work, but since my wife tasked me to slow cook pork ribs with some fancy-smancy smoky bacon pepper and onion relish, I thought I'd add some big ass beer (about 1/2 can along with some water) to the cooker...we'll see how the mad experiment turns out when I get home...

    look: 3.75 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 4 | overall: 3.75

    Pours a semi murky darker golden color. The head was 1 finger, off white, and frothy. The retention is ok.
    The nose is somewhat malty, but there's also a fruit aroma in it. Smells like a sour apple to me.
    Taste - The malt and sour apple on the nose is also in the flavor. The malt is forward, and the sour apple is on the backside.
    Feel - is decent bodied. I do feel the carbonation on my palate.
    Interesting beer to try, but nothing I'd go out of my way to find.

    Taste brings a tart tautness that opens up mid palate to the grain, coriander, spice and orange. Hops remain muted throughout but orange makes a quick reappearance in the aftertaste where it lingers a bit.

    Green Gold. An IPA from Mikkeller. I had this one before from a can. Strange they switched back to bottles.
