    An excellent NEIPA brewed with lager yeast and pilsner malt, which is why they call it an "IPL". Still looks, smells and tastes exactly like a fruit salad NEIPA and a pretty good one at that.

    Yep, 2015 Narwhal paired with hot dog accented Mac & Cheese. I walked a mini marathon in work boots last night so I can handle it. Cheers all & enjoy what's in your glass today!

    Something sharp on this bright morning . . .

    Attractive red brown color with pinkish white cap and lace.

    Aroma of wood, heavy dark fruit and sour cherries.

    Flavor is very tart and very sour, yet pleasingly rich and complex. What is get is mostly the dark fig, sour cherry thing intermingled with wood in a layered complexity which comes across as a rounded whole.

    I didn't intentionally age, as i picked up last month from local bottle shop, I figured for $1.99 it's worth the chance, turns out it's quite good!
