The knoll wasn't there last year. FFF (3F) had a fence up blocking it.

 

For those who bought in-person ticket sales at the pub, did they get their wristband that day, or are they to be picked up at will call?

 

Yes, in the past all the guest taps were all in one place, but they spread them out now.

Will Call

 

Glad to see they took notice of my email and made sure the Hip Hop Tent made the map, but there are no guest taps

 

In person pick up tends to be at Will Call. It was setup right next to the entrance last year. You just stepped out of line near the gate, grab your ticket and then jump back in line.

 

The Hip Hop Tent is the obvious best meetup spot

Yeah! People got mad at me when I suggested a WhatsApp group before.

 

You brought up what I was alluding too. The Ticket Resolution tent is in the "Holding Pen" past the "Main Entrance"....where they scaned tickets last year...which you won't have if you have a ticket issue.

Obviously they will have some way to get people to that tent from the outside, but I just thought it was interesting placement considering past years.

Ah, gotcha. I'm sure they'd need proof, such as an e-mail from FFF or e-tix to get in for the ticket resolution.

 

It's a whale for sure. I heard they used the reclaimed wood from a previous 3F foeder to build the fence, then after DLD17, took it down, and re-used the now piss soaked oak to make barrels for this year's variants.

I’ll be a carrying a portable Bluetooth speaker streaming those hip hop beats so if you cant see me then maybe you can hear me and of course will have on some form of wu wear

 

Yeah, I kind of walked through real quick with a Corridor crowler, tried to talk to a few people in DA shirts, then left when I ran into a guy with the same crowler. Everyone was kind of crammed against the fence and it was hard to tell who was in the group.

Another option is back of the stage area, it was pretty open and there were 2 tap stations. The metal would make it harder to talk though.

 

Meeting up with more than a few people that you are in contact with at DLD is extremely difficult. There's just so many people there and areas tend to get filled up. If anything, based on last year minus the DJ this year, the staging area would be the best. There always seemed to be tons of open space there throughout the day.
