Other Half in May!

^^This. I saw a couple cases of Spicy Meatball but not much, same for Mylar. There was a lot of everything else. OH hates locals?

 

Indeed, probably the best experience ive ever had between both OH and TH. Waited 30 min and walked out with 7 different kinds of beer. Beyond amazing.

 

Kinda hoping we see fewer collabs in the next few months, until the inevitable Other Half/Monkish/Trillium threesome in the summer.

 

I just want DDH Forever Simcoe

 

Is OH ever going to go back to brewing/canning non-DDH versions of their beers? Everything (exclduing their dual-hop brews) is DDH. Today's release, 5/6 of the beers released were DDH.

 

They occasionally do, they did DDH Green Power and then went back to normal Green Power. But for the most part no, I mean they can charge $2 more for it so I don't see why they would. For the most part the DDH versions are better anyways.

I just wish they would do non-DDH Broccoli, Cheddar & Cabbage. I like the non-DDH versions a lot more and plus the labels are better IMO

 

Honestly DDH on a can sells better and for more from a business perspective.

 

Meh, while it is a marketing term, Tree House beers do quite well without having the DDH term on it .

They just add extra consonants. Different nomenclature, same difference.

 

They also do even better with the DHH's by adding those extra consonants ala BBBright and SSSap, etc..

 

So to clarify, while TH's VH, VG,jjj,Sss,bbb, and doubleganger are whales, they're still selling 4K+ cases of regular ole IPA/DIPAs a week, without needing everything to be "DDH" is what I am getting at.

Some of OH's better beers are just regular hopped beers. the DDH just, as mentioned, is a way to get an extra $2 a 4pk.

 

Jjjuliusss and Sssappp aren't just DDH Julius and DDH Sap, they increase the hopping rate in the kettle as well as the dry hop.

 

Most underrated OH beer

 

That's an excellent beer but this DDH Go With the Flow is more underrated.

 

Pretty rare for OH to brew two batches of the Mylar daydream so close together, but this one is like 50% creamier than the one from last month. Maybe they wanted a re-do?

 

where's the DDH Forever Simcoe Daydream where is it you cowards
