This is the most variants they've done. Previously they did 10 in 2016

I was in the run, though I didn't see me in the video. You know what the only thing worse than having to run was (which I didn't really mind)? People shit talking about how it's just beer, why would I run to get a rare beer when there is so much good beer around, or just generally being douche-nozzels to people trying to have fun. Some guys had come into town from Brazil for the event, no reason to give them shit just because they are excited to try something that they love. Just let people be happy doing their thing.

    Couple additional notes on Variants:

    1) Is this years FVM similar to 2016 Trump and Pump + Adjuncts? Both Sauternes barrels.
    2) Is Spaceforce! similar to 2016 Legio Gemina + Adjucts? Both Pineau barrels.
    3) Is Brotilla similar to 2017 Ronaldo less the Cherries? Some reviews say Carcavelos is similar to some Maderias...

I think it would be really interesting to do some side by sides of a lot of these. The wild card is the barrels obviously.

Is anyone else staying at the new Springhill Suites hotel on Calumet Ave, right near FFF ? Is there a share going on there or what? I was thinking of bringing Cycle weekday set and some Voodoo BR stuff. also, when can you get in line for the group bottle pickups? like if you are in group E can you get in line at like 3 or 4 pm or do you have to wait until 5 and then there's a mad rush or what?

No reason to get into the bottle sales line early honestly. Variants are handed out at random so being at the front of the group gives you no advantage. I think they do let you line up early if you really want, maybe 30 minutes before your sales time begins, but honestly you are better off waiting until 30 minutes after you sales time has started and then go in, or wait until the line has died down.

Don’t get in line early. There is no rush now that it is random, unless you want to leave immediately after pickup I guess.
