so the bottles that came out were just bottle aged? or was it sold back then also?

It might've been on draft in 2016, not sure? But they aged some of it in Cognac barrels and some in Bourbon barrels apparently. Goldstrap is the name of the base beer from the sound of things.

The Hoof Hearted collab was really good and they also just put up a Berliner on draft recently that was decent. Would be interested to see how this is before committing to going over there given that it doesn't seem like we'll get a midweek Forever Simcoe now.

The bottle they released a few months ago, Nothing to Declare, was really nice. That was a collab with KEX Brewing though.

I agree that El Camino Misfires was pretty good. Only had it on draft, but flavor-wise the raspberries were up front while the coffee played off the berry aspect with the vanilla adding some sweetness on the sidelines. Not exceedingly sour/tart, if memory serves.

+1 to Nothing to Declare. Also aside from being surprised by the coffee, El Camino Misfires was solid.

considering nothing to declare and el camino have been two of my favorite other half beers so far, pretty excited to see theyre stepping their sour game up for summer.

$100 seems pretty steep for an event like this.

As much as there will be a ton of great beers there, not worth it IMO.
