Agree with the above guys. After the disaster at nyc beer week I’ll never attend other festival like this no matter how good the lineup. Good luck to all those hitting this up.

How in the hell is that worth $100. GMAFB

Edit: oh I didn’t see the wrestling aspect.

This also probably means a million different collabs in the weeks following... Just give us City Slickers please.

That announcement is like the opposite of what I was hoping for haha. Let me know when someone catches wind of a fully stocked Hop Showers fridge in the taproom.

Oh wow I missed that on first read, what on earth? Does amateur wrestling have significant crossover fans with craft beer?

Hahaha, that's exactly what I was thinking, somehow larger distribution, on-site cans for sale frequently, etc. Not another dumb beer fest where you get 2 oz samples and can't distinguish the difference between hoppy beers after a few of them.

Missed the wrestling piece initially, but that's probably because I could also care less about wrestling.

Can we talk about how ridiculous the $300 VIP package is?

If we assume anybody buying the "standard" ticket is one who would likely buy a case of beer, a bottle or two at OH, as well as a souvenir glass, it's really only a difference of $35 or so [300-(100+20x6+2x15+15). That seems abundantly worth it for near private bathroom access at this type of event. The ringside seats are icing on the cake!

Is there beef between OH and Grimm? Never done a collab with them, and they don’t invite Grimm to their IPA party?

While this hasn't stopped them from collabing with a couple others, Grimm has often stated that they see collabing as a two way street and are reluctant to do too many until they have the space to reciprocate those collabs.

I think they’ve said they’re focusing on opening the brewery, and weren’t really doing festivals until they open.

I love how the the 100 option has this listed as a perk:

Ability to buy green city gear and glassware

    Thanks so much guys

A few years ago Grimm not so subtlety knocked OH for their not so subtle beers.

As someone who spent $90 last September to drink a bunch of fair-to-middling beers and see Built To Spill and Guided By Voices, I could see myself spending $100 to drink a bunch of amazing beers and watch some shitty wrestling.

Pretty sure 90% of the profits of the aforementioned event went to cover Robert Pollard's tab.

You had me at $300 for a private bathroom.

I'm also assuming Pizza Rat will be a beer or a teku, or both God willing.

I'm irrationally annoyed by this whole bathroom bullshit. Rich bastards already got nice ass cars into which to load cases of nice ass beer they scored from a nice smelling mule to drink in their nice ass, probably rooftop-situated beer temple and post about on their nice ass social media feeds- do they really need anything else to hold over the commoner?

Can't we all just agree that the human condition requires suffering the indignity of needing to but being unable to go pee?
