Evening all. Mrs. Powell is up Kansas for the next 4 days, hopefully we don't trash this joint too bad. Coop Ale Works Fly Me Away IPA, seems to be of the New England ilk, 7.6% ABV

A very sad day on WBAYDN. 3 pages at 9:30 Eastern. Doing my part as always!

 

Bottled last Tuesday, the 8th of May.
Rec'd yesterday, the 15th of May.
I forgot to bring mine home last night...



We haven't rec'd any Lunch in almost 2 months.
The last 2 deliveries were a bit malty, West Coast-y.
The few batches before those 2 were tropical juice-y.
This one is leaning towards tropical.
Me like-y a lot!

Ill have to do a side by side with Jammer OG but this is tight. Honestly at first it tastes like soda and the colder it is the better but i think you nailed the ratio of citrus. That's why im such a fan. I dont front ive had around 15 beers from sixpoint and liked them all.

Delicious hoppy pale wheat ale. Flavors of big grapefruit, tangerine, peach, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate wheat, cracker, light honeyed malts; with herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Similar but muted aromas. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Light-medium bodied; balanced grainy wheat creaminess and hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Moderately crisp and very refreshing. Juicy/bright hops and balanced malts. Feels like a standard pale ale, but I wouldn't expect anything else from Revolution on the level of hop character. Mosaic, Amarillo, and Crystal hops. Will get again while it's fresh.


Awesome NEIPA. Aromas and flavors of big slightly tart/tangy guava, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, and citrus zest hops; with wheat, white bread dough malt balance; and herbal, floral, grassy earthiness. Very minimal pine/floral/grassy bitterness and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; very creamy/bready/grainy wheat mouthfeel with slight hop stickiness. Minimal dryness, insanely drinkable and pretty refreshing. Super juicy and lightly dank hops/fruit; balanced bready malt backbone, not too sweet/heavy. Amazingly soft mouthfeel. Totally forgot about these in the back of my fridge, still have 2 more to finish off. From November, but still tasting delicious. Grabbed a pack of Shadynasty's today since I was a big fan.
