So after paying close to $100 for TAP NY, this doesn't sound terrible based on the list of breweries attending.

I have to echo someone else's comment here on TMDD, its really tasty but its honestly too much after like 8oz.

I'd say yes, but most of the lot will be too drunk to feel the indignity.

OR, I'd point out that half the population is already used to waiting in longer lines to use restrooms at big events.

I actually bought a ticket. I don’t think $100 is too extravagant considering the list of breweries attending. Also, if I were to go out with friends in the city for 4 hours I would easily spend $100. Lastly, theres a wrestling match to enjoy in the process of getting drunk.

Given one can razzle that case for a profit and Ebay that Teku at $80-100, you are actually getting paid to upgrade to the bathroom that has toilet paper! That is if you buy OH stouts, @RobNewton !!

I thought I had a problem with IPAs, because that's what I drink primarily, but paying $100 to pound hazebombs for a few hours sounds like hell to me.

The more I thought about it the $100 price makes sense. Hell, even $300 to "splurge" on a "beer experience" (ideally with friends) isn't the worst way to dispense with disposable income. Looking forward to the full report!

Call me a lightweight, but no way could i drink $100 worth of IPA's in four hours.

Aside from Grimm, I am also surprised to not see any NJ breweries on this list. Expected to see at least one of Kane, Carton, or Magnify.

I don't think this would be a very good business move for Other Half if people could out-drink the price of admission. They know what they're doing here.

Accepted here as well. I plan on drinking exactly $102.98 worth of IPAs.

I think the critical question here is - do you tip in this scenario?

I can say for sure I had well over $100 of beer at the beer week bash, and only had mild alcohol poisoning.
no, there’s usually no money being exchanged at these types of things.

Yes, but you should be tipping based in the cost of each individual pour. So assuming these are 4oz pours, and the lines for anything worthwhile is very long, and you get a total of 5 pours during the event, that means each pour is about $20. But, you should be tipping based on the price of a full, 12oz pour. So each pour converted to FPP (full pour price) is $60. If you tip 20% based on that, you should be tipping $12 per pour.

Can we start a petition for an OG Other Half Release? Thinking one release of all Other Half classics like All Green Everything, Hop Showers, All Citra, Suparillo etc.

Any speculation on what from tomorrow is a double batch?

It will never happen, but a 4/5 can release of just the single hop series would be cool as heck.

The collab most likely, collabs have tended to be double batches because they are one offs and they want to give more people the chance to try them.
